Saturday 26 September

  • 5pm: A selection of athletes from the Fessura Trail Team will preview the entire GSR Great Sibillini Ring 124km with 5000d+ (Grande Anello dei Sibillini), in complete self-sufficiency.
  • In the afternoon there will be talks dedicated to the mountains, food and wine stands and moments of music.

Sunday 27 September

Official competitions start simultaneously at 9.00am:

  • SBL 21km 950d+
  • PLT 12km 400d+
  • WALK 12km
  • WALK 4km

WHY ULTRATRAIL GSR?

VISION: A forward-looking project with the ambition of becoming a benchmark in the international trail running scene.

MISSION: To help running enthusiasts discover an authentic territory, showcasing the beauty of the Sibillini Mountains through sport and adventure.

RACES and DISTANCES

  • ULTRATRAIL GSR 124km - 5000m d+

    The GSR Ultratrail is a spectacular loop of approximately 124 km that encompasses the entire Sibillini National Park mountain range. For the inaugural edition, a select group of athletes will first complete the entire route, completely self-sufficient. This journey will allow the route to be mapped and lay the groundwork for the official opening of the GSR starting next year.

  • VTR 35km - 1900m d+

    A challenging and technical route, with over 1,900 meters of elevation gain, that passes through some of the most spectacular sections of the GSR. A challenge designed for experienced trail runners seeking authenticity, endurance, and adventure in the heart of the Apennines.

  • SBL 21km - 950m d+

    A technical and intense trail half-marathon, with approximately 950 meters of elevation gain. A course that alternates runnable sections with more challenging sections, designed for those seeking the right balance between speed, endurance, and mountain running.

  • PLT 12km - 400m d+

    The fastest race, a gravel route that alternates 7 km of asphalt and 5 km of dirt road, ideal for those who want to get started with trail running.

  • WALK 12 km

    A walk for those who want to experience the race, immersed in the nature and landscapes of the Marche mountains.

  • WALK4km

    A walk around the town for those who want to experience the energy and spirit of the race.
